Are you strolling the alcohol aisles looking for a clean sparkly sip?
Here are my top 3 choices!
If you’re a champagne lover like me, you’ll find it fun and like a science experiment determining which zero proof bubbles pique your interest when on an alcohol free journey.
Mine was fueled by pregnancy. Leading up to getting pregnant I had tried a few non-alcoholic bubbly beverages while traveling. I had mixed thoughts.
But, the thought of saying goodbye to alcohol for 9 months, a year, more… didn’t really influence my decision. I’m just as happy with a mocktail as I am with a cocktail.
I did want to have fun with this process and try different pregnancy-safe drinks when on the plane, celebrating an occasion, in a restaurant, or at home.
While at home and nearing the end of my first trimester I decided to wander the aisles and website of Total Wine. I’ve always heard they are the go to place for all things alcohol and not! I knew I wanted sparkling beverages not alcohol free spirits.
I tried several. These are the 3 best non-alcoholic ones that simultaneously won’t break the bank.
1) Rondel de-alcoholized sparkling wine, zero Rose
This one caught me by surprise. While I expected a good wine since I’m already a fan of Rondel, I’m not a huge Rose gal. Well, this changed my mind – I certainly will buy again, pregnant or not. Cost $10.99.
2) Rondel zero Cava sparkling non-alcoholic wine
As close as it gets in my opinion to sipping on real bubbly. So refreshing. Something to look forward to! Seriously, try it. Cost $10.99.
3) Almost Zero sparkling non-alcoholic dry wine
Great for nutrition-fact focused folks (coming in at 18 calories a serving). Nutrition panel is solid, healthy and the taste isn’t compromised. Cost $14.99.
This is so good that I ordered half a case – but of course it was on backorder. I’m not the only one onto this one!
Cheers to whatever reason you chose to sip non-alcoholic beverages!
