What is the healthiest yogurt?

Are you looking for a healthy yogurt that checks all the boxes?

In my opinion that’s Fage 2% Greek Yogurt.

Fage is not the new kid on the dairy aisle block but one that deserves a gold medal.

It’s truly healthy. Take my piece of advice. This is a tasty and versatile yogurt that will soon become a staple on your grocery runs. I always have several in my refrigerator.

This yogurt has been approved by fitness and nutrition experts I’ve worked with and it:

  • Tastes great
  • Mixes well (with fruit, for a blended snack, topped with flaxseed or nuts)
  • Is a healthy, body-friendly on the go snack (stop at the grocery store on your road trip and enjoy this as a snack – not gas station processed foods)
  • Is a nutritional blockbuster

The 2% Greek Yogurt has:

100 calories

5 carbs

15 grams of protein

  • Is helpful for digestion
  • Gets the stamp of approval by my dogs (I make 3 ingredient dog ice cream treats with it)

Fage offers multiple options (5%, 2%, 0%), plain, ones with fruit…

Whatever you need in your healthy eating routine, it likely is available.

I love the plain ones, but family members of mine love the strawberry, peach, and blueberry 2% Fage Greek Yogurt.

You may wonder why I opt for the 2%?

A fitness expert shared with me years ago that low-fat is more ideal than going fat-free. I know there is a lot of debate on the topic but low-fat has worked well for me. What is best for you – is best for you.

If you’re diabetic, it’s a way to have fruit in moderation as well as a healthy snack. The milk used in Fage is from cows that have been fed non-GMO feed. Vital.

I hope you love Fage just as much as I do!  I have reviewed nearly all available Greek yogurt options. This continues to be my top pick when it comes to the healthiest Greek yogurt!
